Patreon Update: Engine Update Release Version 0.6!
Hey all!
Been a minute since a post! I'm still alive and everything was under hardcore development, I promise! I've wrapped up (a lot) of work with how the base engine works so I'm going to drop a change-log and release. Be sure to read the entire thing for all the details! It's pretty gigantic.
CHANGE LOG:
Core Systems
- Completely rebuilt variable system with a rewritten script logic flow.
- Rewinding now properly detects variables and rolls back to the correct state across multiple chatters, ensuring data and chat integrity.
- Activated by holding bubbles to rewind, as before.
User Experience
- Improved chat scrolling for smoother navigation.
- Added profile system: character profile pictures can be changed, and a profile viewer now shows character status (also editable).
- New save/load system: each story has 10 save slots for snapshot progress, allowing players to reload at any point.
- Reworked contact page: stories are organized into paged sections for easier browsing.
- Gallery system improvements:
- Reads image counts dynamically.
- Prevents broken links from showing and confusing progress meters.
- Added gallery unlock codes.
- Displays the "image name" of empty thumbnails now. Helpful for knowing what you're missing for guidance as well as debugging.


Chat Flow
- Fast/Slow mode replaced with dynamic speed and click-to-progress. Players can click anytime to skip Characters typing.
- The “...” continue button has been replaced: your typed response now appears in the button itself. You can send instantly or wait for it to finish typing.
- Added support for group chats, with redesigned layouts to handle multiple participants. See below for demo pic! It will be used not too long from now.

Content & Updates
- Mai’s script minor updates with new profile picture support.
- Victoria has been removed from the game.
- Emma is temporarily unavailable; she will receive a full script rewrite, with more details coming early next month.
- June is temporarily disabled pending a major content expansion and structural update, adding both early-chapter revisions and new later story content.
Audio & Visual
- Added initial sound effects to chats and UI elements. Currently minimal but provides responsive feedback. Will be expanded over time.
Community
- Discord link in page added to the app.
Annie Bug Fixes
- Annie's script had a few locked images due to a bug on the dominant routes. I'm still unsure what the cause of this was but the new variable logic seemed to remedy it on my end. Although this is not a "content" update, the fix on these bugs should enable players to see content that was otherwise unavailable to them.
I'm uncertain if an uninstall/reinstall is required or just an update would suffice for APK version. I tested it with a fresh install but I'm limited to my own device to test with so if anyone comes across any bugs or the features don't seem like they're implemented - try a reinstall. Note, this will probably destroy your save data.

Future Content + Return to Story lines!
I'm very glad to have this part over and done with. There are a few engine changes left but they are not so significant to reworking base systems. More features will be tacked on in the future but for now we're going back to story. Phew!
Now that that's out of the way, our girls have come out of hibernation and are warming up for some steamy sessions. The order of updates I have planned coming are the following:
- Annie will receive a minor image update that will add a few images to her script in areas that felt a bit lacking. Some sections of the story can drag on without a visual element and whilst that's somewhat immersive, sometimes too much immersion can end up being boring/monotonous. Nick, our artist, will be working on that in parallel to me working on the following 2.
- While above is happening, I will be writing Lily and Emma scripts. Emma's script will be a medium/larger update so I'll be working on that with Lily's script in parallel. So Lily's update will come out before Emma's reset/premium story but they won't be taking time away from each other. It's just so we can return to a good pace of updates following the big engine changes as opposed to having to wait another month for a story update. Annie and Lily updates should seg way nicely into Emma's bigger update!
- After all of the above is done, we will return to June's story as I've been meaning to give it a makeover both under and over the hood. The scope of her world will increase quite a bit and I will take the month for her update to clean up and polish the logic, images, and introduce new content both before and after where June ended up. I'm very excited for this update!
- Then, following above, I intend to finally add our new premium character, Belle. This was the character that had won the polls and the story choice votes. We will have some follow up votes on refining her look/design in different ways. Premium voting will return in that shape. Her base look will be, of course, in contest. These votes will happen throughout the previous set of updates. But after June's story, I'll be working toward adding the new character.
- Mai would be the last one on the list to receive an update. I'm sure many of you are still curious about what kind of things will happen following Clara's proposal!
It's been a lot of work on my end despite things feeling slow on the other side of things but there are so many useful systems. Given it all, playing the game should be a more streamlined experience! I don't think there is a phone game out there with both on the fly, save/load and also revert/rewind. Writing them should be a step simpler as well.
This update will have only 3 characters playable: Annie, Mai and Lily. But Emma will return to the cast shortly after, followed by June, followed by our new character Belle, so things will quickly rebuild from here - don't fret! There will be more characters than ever before. Until then please enjoy the new systems! I'll be hard at work getting all the new content in the game!

I really do value it, and pour all my time into this work to ensure that every (reasonable) request is met so this update is one I can say will bring a lot of comfort to the player experience.
